New development: Pressure maintenance systems for water-glycol mixtures

27.11.2025

Expansion of our product portfolio in the field of fire extinguishing systems

This year, our newly developed pressure maintenance systems for water-glycol mixtures with a glycol content of up to 40% were launched. The units comply with all regulations of the VdS CEA 4001 guidelines.

Pressure maintenance systems using a water-glycol mixture as the medium are intended for maintaining pressure in temperature-critical protection areas (typically in cases of frost risk) within sprinkler networks, when dry systems are not desired or cannot be implemented for other reasons.

The vertically installed multistage centrifugal pumps in inline design are available with different numbers of stages for various system pressures. In addition, up to five independently supplied protection zones can be served by a single pump unit. Each section to be protected is supplied via its own pressure line with pressure switch, solenoid valve for line release, and expansion vessel.

With these ready-made system solutions, the customer receives an individually configurable "plug-and-play" module that can be very easily integrated into the pre-planned sprinkler system.
