Shipbuilding is one of our specialties. High-performance pumps play a significant role in shipbuilding. They are for example needed for:
- Cooling water systems to secure the cooling of the main motor, the auxiliary diesel and further auxiliary systems like air-condition and provision refrigeration systems.
- Ballast balancing systems that ensure that large ships with extremely heavy freight does not tip. A ship with a giant crane for example requires 12 to 15 pumps as counterbalance.
Also the water supply operates over special pumps on ships. This applies to huge cruise ships as well as private yachts.
